DJ / Remixer / Sound Producer / Composer. DJ Kawasaki made his global debut in 2005 with a 12-inch single released on King Street. To date, eight of his singles have consecutively reached No.1 on the iTunes Dance Chart. In 2018, he launched his own label KAWASAKI RECORDS, focusing primarily on 7’’ vinyl releases. On June 30, 2021, he released One World, his first original album in 11 years. Featuring entirely live instrumentation with no programming, the album boldly incorporates elements of boogie and disco, showcasing a remarkable evolution in his musical style. On March 8, 2023, he released his latest work BRIDGE INTO THE FUTURE: DJ KAWASAKI RECREATED TRACKS. To celebrate his 30th anniversary as a DJ, he held a full-band live performance at the Cotton Club featuring N’Dea Davenport and bird, which concluded with great success. He also co-hosts a monthly party called MAGNETiC at The Room (Shibuya) with Shuya Okino (from SOIL&“PIMP”SESSIONS).
