Vocalist J.Speaks was born in the Philippines, grew up in Saipan, and spent his student days in Hawaii, naturally acquiring a multinational sensibility and a singing ability that is beyond that of a Japanese person. On the other hand, Taiga is a genuine guitarist who was born to a father involved in the music industry and has lived his life with the guitar. Blue Vintage is a rich sound that creates a rich sound by combining the two's strong personalities. Based on the blues and hip-hop that form the musical foundation of both bands, they have fused all kinds of music such as rock, pop, and surf music, and have pioneered a new sound that can be delivered through the filter of Blue Vintage, surf pop. In their hybrid musicality, the essence of the "sea" that the two love is projected, and it has been described as "music that you can see the sea in." "Apple Pie," released in 2021, was a collaboration with Suzuki Airi, who made her major debut as a member of °C-ute and is active as both an exclusive model for the women's fashion magazine RAY and an actress, and reached No. 1 on the Spotify viral chart. It was also selected as the ending theme song for Nippon Television's "Women Who Want to Fall in Love Like a Dream." She also participated in the official song project "Colorful" for the Tokyo Olympics Coca-Cola Japan Co., Ltd.'s "Team Coca-Cola," and 14 gorgeous artists from around the world came together to create a global collaboration. In 2023, she released a collaboration song with Sekiguchi Shingo (Oval) called "Shomonai feat. Sekiguchi Shingo." In May 2024, she released "Blue Clock feat. CHICO CARLITO," a collaboration with CHICO CARLITO, an up-and-coming rapper representing Okinawa. In July, they released a collaboration song with Def Tech, "Motherland feat. Def Tech," and their unique collaboration songs with many talented artists attracted attention everywhere. From 2022 onwards, they will appear at many surf music festivals across the country, such as "Good Summer Fes 2002 in Ishigakijima," "CORONA SUNSETS FESTIVAL 2023," "THE DROP FES 2023," and "Ocean Peoples 2024."
